The Why

I have been following these guys for a really long time and had been looking for a way to give back somehow and when the 'Walk the Walk' challenge popped into my facebook feed I knew I needed to do it. 

Am I a little aprehensive? Yes. 

Am i worried that I wont get any dontations? Yes. 

Many people just don't have money to spare at the moment. 
Do I want to do my little bit to help bring a little relief to those living rough at the moment? 
100% YES!

I am lucky enough to have support and if I ever found myself unable to afford to house myself, I have people who would help. Not everyone is that lucky.

I am grateful that I can walk 122km in a month in support of the more than 122,000 homeless people in Australia, instead of being one included in this number. 

I have pledged to raise enough to help at least 20 people.

I'm walking for the 122,000 Australians experiencing homelessness

Right now, there are 122,000 Australians experiencing homelessness. That's 1 in 210 people.

This March, I will be taking part in Walk the Walk and going the distance for the 122,000 people doing it tough in our community.

I'm walking to raise funds for Orange Sky's vital work providing connection through clean laundry, warm showers, and genuine conversation.

Please support my walk to positively connect communities and support people who need it the most.

Together, we can show Aussies experiencing homelessness they're not alone.
