Day 3

One thing I didn't share was that I have tendinitis in both Achilles- something I have been ignoring and self treating for years. The pain of this had finally become unbearable and I'm in treatment now. This challenge has helped motivate me to get help... and I reflect on the pains and strains that people experiencing homelessness may go through and how privileged I am to be able to access help easily.

In further reflection I acknowledge deeply the important work.of Orange Sky as having access to laundry services supports health and wellbeing in ways I can't even imagine.

I'm grateful for doing this challenge and am looking forward to continuing to walk each day.

I'm walking for the 122,000 Australians experiencing homelessness

Right now, there are 122,000 Australians experiencing homelessness. That's 1 in 210 people.

This March, I will be taking part in Walk the Walk and going the distance for the 122,000 people doing it tough in our community.

I'm walking to raise funds for Orange Sky's vital work providing connection through clean laundry, warm showers, and genuine conversation.

Please support my walk to positively connect communities and support people who need it the most.
