Nighttime stormy walks on a humid summers even.
Finally got past the 5km mark for my daily walking goals. Normally walking with my pups is a slow process steady but tonight I did a lap with them and then dropped them home and continued doing laps around town. Very humid stormy conditions but also peaceful. They watched my laps of town from the doggy deck every time I passed by on another pass, only received a few strange looks from people seeing me going past more than once😄.. mostly a quiet night.I'm walking for the 122,000 Australians experiencing homelessness
Right now, there are 122,000 Australians experiencing homelessness. That's 1 in 210 people.
This March, I will be taking part in Walk the Walk and going the distance for the 122,000 people doing it tough in our community.
I'm walking to raise funds for Orange Sky's vital work providing connection through clean laundry, warm showers, and genuine conversation.
Please support my walk to positively connect communities and support people who need it the most.
Together, we can show Aussies experiencing homelessness they're not alone.
